Edward Fortyhands is a drinking game where two or more players tape 40-ouce bottles of alcohol - usually beer, but occasionally cider - to their hands and must consume them fully before removing them

Like many drinking games, House Rules are in effect for Edward Fortyhands. In some variants, all eighty ounces of alcohol must be consumed before one can remove the bottles; in others, they can be removed one-by-one. Avoiding activities that require hands can be seen as a rule, a guideline, or as an overarching goal. Breaking the 40oz bottle while it remains taped to your hand is occasionally the only acceptable method of removal.
